Description: Rehabilitation of waterfront property occupied by the former United Illuminating electrical generating plant and surrounding vacant and under utilized properties. The proposed development consists of mixed use high-rise office towers, retail, entertainment, and residential units. A maritime theme is central to the project including high-speed ferry access, a marina complex, a public access boulevard, and other features encouraging the public to interact with the waterfront.
Role: Triton is serving on a multidisciplinary team of consultants and engineers to provide expertise in coastal planning, resource evaluations, and regulatory permitting. Project involves bulkheading, coastal fill, construction of piers and docks, dredging, and other waterfront activities.
