Edgewood Park Pond Restoration

Client: City of New Haven
Description: Restoration of an inner-city pond, including dredging (15,000 cy) of pond sediments, littoral zone and upland plantings (emergent herbaceous (pond edge) plants, and trees and shrubs) and installation of deep water fishing habitat. Plantings were designed to create several pond buffer areas that provide an increase to the health and productivity of the ponds ecology.
Role: Overall project management including design services, engineering, regulatory permitting, preparation of technical specifications and bidding documents, and construction oversight.
