Client: Indalex Aluminum Solutions
Description: Response to neighborhood complaints regarding plant odors.
Role: Review of facility permits, equipment inventory, and material safety data sheets (MSDS) to identify potential sources of odors. Review of topographic maps, site terrain, and dominant wind direction to determine legitimacy of neighbor complaints. Inspection of processes identified as potential sources of odors. Odor sampling at facility boundary and surrounding neighborhood, timed to production cycles of identified processes. Report on likely source of emissions, and recommendations to pollution control vendor for repairs to equipment.
